Monday Gallery...

The 'Monday Gallery' - few, if any, words and just a painting or piece of art that has some resonance or link to contemporary events.

American Gothic - 1930 , Grant Wood

I've used this image before for the Monday Gallery but in a slightly more light hearted way. Given the iconic status of the painting in American art and it's depiction of rural, working-class Americans on the eve of the 30's depression I thought it deserved an airing again in it's original state...
